Here are pictures from the Oak Hammock Marsh Grade 7 field trip we went on for Science class with Mrs. Hodgkinson. I remember her telling us that we were supposed to take notes during the field trip, we had to write a lab report based on the material learnt from the field trip, and we would even be tested on the material on the exam! At first the class thought she was joking because it seemed absurd that we'd be expected to be responsible for material learnt on a field trip. When we realized she wasn't joking, we just thought she was crazy and sadistic. But that was how Mrs. Hodgkinson operated. She pushed us hard and expected us to not fall over. She definitely had a big part in making Grades 7 and 8 the hardest years of school ever (this statement is widely agreed upon), not that that's a bad thing, because what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
Anyways, the pictures are below. They're hilarious to look back upon. If you're wondering how I got them from Mrs. Hodgkinson, see here. If you need help putting names to faces, check out our Grade 7 class photo.
